Julie’s Story
Faith is our greatest gift. Sharing it with others is our greatest responsibility. The practice of yoga led me down a path of healing and transformation that I never thought possible. The practice became my refuge and strength as I walked through the most profoundly difficult time of my life. I discovered ease and a sense of peace as I tuned into my breath and body. I opened up my heart, asked for courage and received new found faith and connection to a greater purpose. I was given the grace to start again and felt compelled to share the gift courage, strength and hope with others who are facing difficulty too.
Through yoga we all have the power to heal and reclaim our true authenticity.
The work in recovery is the work of healing and transformation, as is true with the path of yoga. Recovery Yoga enhances recovery in a safe atmosphere where there’s an opportunity for inquiry and looking at life with a new vision.. The class infuses the principles and promises of the twelve steps with the philosophy of yoga. We talk about real life and how to navigate the ups and downs with grace and ease. Meditation and breathing calm the mind and ground us in the present moment. Are you ready to access your inner wisdom and lead a wholehearted life?
